Rules & Guidelines

  • A splash pad is for water play only. Bathing, laundry, washing of items not permitted.
  • Behaviors that endanger others such as pushing, running, fighting, or other forms of horseplay are not allowed.
  • Persons with sore or inflamed eyes, colds, nasal or ear discharges, boils or other acute or obvious skin or body infections, or cuts shall be excluded from the splash pad.
  • No glassware allowed within 10 feet of the splash pad.
  • No animals allowed, except for service animals.
  • No drinks, candy, tobacco, popcorn, gum, alcohol or food of any kind shall be permitted on the splash pad or within 10 feet of the splash pad.
  • Shower and use the toilet before entering the splash pad.
  • If incontinent, wear tight-fitting rubber or plastic pants or a swim diaper.
  • Observe all safety regulations.
  • Rollerblades, skateboards, bicycles, scooters, hygiene products, and/or any other foreign objects are not allowed in the splash pad area.
  • Violations of these rules, the Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department's Code of Conduct, or the Phoenix City Code may result in an order to leave.
  • The City of Phoenix reserves the right to turn off water features at times of drought.
  • If there is a fecal accident this splash pad will be immediately closed and not reopened until it is cleaned and adequately disinfected, per U.S. Centers for Disease Control recommendations. Use the SHUT OFF BUTTON to immediately stop all water features. Water to the splash pad will remain off until maintenance items are taken care of and/or the sanitation issue has been rectified.
  • Splash pad can only be reactivated by City of Phoenix personnel.
