About Stephen Sorensen Park Splash Pad

Renamed in 2003 in memory of Deputy Stephen Sorensen, who was killed in the line of duty, this park in the Lake Los Angeles area was built by community homeowners who pooled funds to create a recreational space in a rural area. A new 14,000 sq ft gymnasium was dedicated in 2013. The splash pad serves the Antelope Valley community.
