Rules & Guidelines

  • Always follow the directions of DCR staff.
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied and monitored by a parent or responsible adult guardian at all times.
  • Clean swimming attire is required.
  • Take a cleansing shower before entering the pool.
  • Tight fitting swim diapers are required for all children who are not toilet trained.
  • No flotation devices other than properly-fitted U.S. Coast Guard approved lifejackets.
  • No diving (DCR pools are shallow water facilities).
  • Do not change diapers, clothes, or wash children at the pool's edge (use designated areas).
  • No person with a communicable disease is allowed to use the pool.
  • No person with open wounds or wounds covered by a medical bandage will be allowed to use the pool.
  • No smoking or vaping.
  • No running or horseplay.
  • No alcohol.
  • No glass containers.
