About White Park Splash Pad

This park was created in 1884 when the land was conveyed to the city by Armenia White in 1884, in memory of her husband Nathaniel. Mr. White, a founder of The American Express Company, was a prominent businessman, legislator, and philanthropist. The park was designed by renowned architect Charles Elliott in 1888. From Eastman Baseball Field to the Monkey Around Playground, White Park has everything a park-goer could want. With lots of walking trails, this park is great for a classic “walk in the park.” White Park Pond is located in the middle of the park and transforms into Concord’s finest outdoor skating rink during the winter months. During the summertime, catch an evening baseball game or play a game of pick-up basketball under the lighted court. White Park is home to the largest playground in Concord; the Monkey Around Playground. The park also has a seasonal splash pad that was installed in summer 2023. All park facilities are available for rent. You can obtain a permit by contacting the Concord Parks & Recreation Department.
